Gear4music was founded in 2003 by chief executive officer Andrew Wass. The company started out with a selection of 19 pieces of percussion equipment and expanded rapidly over the course of the first few years. By 2007, Gear4music had become one of the UK’s leading musical instrument retailers with a growing range of over 5,000 products. Today, Gear4music has a catalog of over 30,000 products.
