History
GMEX Group was founded in 2012 by Hirander Misra, who currently serves as the Chairman and CEO of the company. The group was established with the aim of providing innovative solutions for the new era of global financial markets.
Since its inception, GMEX Group has focused on leveraging its market infrastructure experience and expertise to create strategic master plans for exchanges, clearing houses, depositories, registries, and warehouse receipt platforms. In 2023, GMEX Group launched ZERO13. It is a blockchain-powered carbon ecosystem that aims to provide innovative solutions for the carbon credits market. ZERO13 is a collaboration between GMEX Group, Verdana, and EcoConsortium. Together, they offer turn-key digitalization across the carbon marketplace vertical.
