Based in the heart of Manchester City Centre on Deansgate, the Chamber has a strong presence in Greater Manchester’s ten local authority areas. It is committed to providing businesses with a platform to connect with other businesses, communicate their message and create opportunities for a skilled workforce. The Chamber’s membership base ranges from sole traders, to large corporates across a broad range of sectors; there’s support for every type of business.

Its membership package includes everything from networking opportunities and HR support, to a huge range of international services and the opportunity to utilise its marketing platforms.

Members to take advantage of its Members’ Lounge and Chamber membership means businesses can access preferential rates to the Chamber Space meeting and conference rooms. History

GMCC is one of 53 Chambers of Commerce across the UK who are accredited by British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). It is a dynamic and independent business network and an authentic voice for British businesses. The Chamber's policy team represents members' views on issues such as transport, environment, skills and the economy across all ten Greater Manchester local authority areas.

According to their website, the GMCC mission is to: "act as the recognised voice for Greater Manchester Business" and "proudly reflect the history and culture of our region".

Vision

GMCC's vision is to operate as an independent, not-for-profit company, working to create a better business environment for their members. Their purpose is to articulate the views and needs of members whatever their size, sector, or location.

Impact

Greater Manchester Chamber is the largest Chamber of Commerce in the UK representing at least 350,000 employees, a third of the total workforce in Greater Manchester.
