Gregory Griffiths is an entrepreneur, technology evangelist, and huge advocate for the United Nations and the Sustainable Development Goals. Currently, he is the Chairman and Founder of IDEAX Ventures, a global boutique consulting firm that specialises in Web3 (+Web2), Cryptocurrency, Technology, and Innovation. He is also the founder of UCROWDME, a decentralised innovation and insights platform powered by web 3.0 technologies and professional investment deal portal. 

Greg has an honors Bachelor in Business Administration and Information Technology from RTE Business School, U.K., and Strategic Management and Innovation Specialisation from Copenhagen Business School. He also did an executive course in Corporate Strategy from UCL School of Management (UK).

Greg has held various executive levels at corporations including Spigit, Singtel Optus (where he achieved the largest corporate contract deal size value), Elcom, and Nexon Asia Pacific.

Since 2004, Greg has been an active technology enthusiast, especially for blockchain technology and Web 3.0, and acted as Executive Advisor to tech companies like NZTwork, The Block Space, Credit Metaverse, and CryptoNitro.

He is also the Executive Board Member of AFEN Blockchain Network, a cutting-edge NFT Project dedicated to the development of user-friendly blockchain solutions in real estate and education, arts & entertainment, and decentralised finance; and The Block Space, the largest Web 3.0 knowledge and talent space in the world.

He also serves as the Business Consultant at The Private Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi Group of Companies in Dubai, UAE. 

A Forbes Author and Technology Council Member at the Forbes Technology Council, he was awarded the 'Frontrunner Award' within Information Technology at the Go Global Awards 2021 (International Trade Council). He has also received the Noonies Award by Hackernoon, where the best writers, thinkers, holders, leaders, and makers of the tech industry are now recognised. 

Biography

Greg received his Bachelor's in Business Management and Information Technology with honors from RTE Business School, U.K. Starting his career in the field of technology, he grew his network.

He joined Elcom Technology, Sydney, Australia, in 2004, where he was responsible for bringing on-board corporate & enterprise clients such as; Hyundai, AMP, AWA, VW, Emerson Power, and Vittoria Coffee to name a few. 

In 2007, he joined Commander Communications, Sydney, where he generated contract sales well over $7 million with significant enterprise pipe-line opportunities, managing and delivering ICT and telephony solutions to Cuscal, Mortgage Choice, Coca-Cola Amatil, AMP, Commonwealth Bank, British American Tobacco, Boston Consulting Group, 3M, Fairfax, Graincorp, Tricom, and Luxottica Group (OPSM).

As National Enterprise Business Director ANZ at Nexon Asia Pacific, which he joined in 2008, he was responsible for managing all national new businesses from selected verticals including manufacturing, hospitality, connected real estate, and technology & finance. He particularly catered to his clients: Sony, Shangri-La, Accor Group, Observatory Hotel, and Hilton Hotels. He also facilitated the channel development growth and strategy with premium partners: Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Microsoft, and IBM.

At Singtel Optus, which he joined in 2010, as a Senior Executive, he generated contracted revenue in excess of $12 million. He was recognised for the “Largest Corporate contract Deal Size Value, and the “Best Performing Enterprise Corporate BDM”. He was also honoured by the Corporate Executive Board, Sales Executive Council of Singtel Optus at the High Performer Workshop. He also received Grade A for Project Management Certificate Course at Optus Business. 

At Spigit, as Regional Sales & Company Director for the Asia Pacific region, Greg was responsible for orchestrating many significant deals with Fortune 500 companies, Global Brands, and Asia Pacific's Biggest Companies.

In 2016, he received honours in Strategic Management and Innovation Specialisation Certificate Programme from Copenhagen Business School, and founded UCROWDME (UK) LIMITED in 2019. UCROWDME is the global leader in decentralised innovation.

Greg was announced the Royal Office Business Consultant at The Private Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al-Qassimi, a business conglomerate in UAE owned by His Royal Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi is a member of the Royal Family of Sharjah & Ras Al Khaimah from the UAE, in June 2022. Here, he is responsible for the expansion of the Royal Office UAE business. 

Greg founded IDEAX Ventures (now IDEAX Labs) in July 2022, a global consulting firm specialising in Web 3.0, Innovation, Technology, FMCG, Manufacturing, Energy, Commodities, and Financial Services, with Noel Gomes.
