The company offers storage solutions, water tanks, cisterns, storage tanks for water and chemicals, inductor tanks, horizontal tanks, and feeders. It also provides pipes; plastic bolts and connectors; valves; hydropneumatic systems, hydropneumatic centrifugal, and peripheral submersible circulating pumps; inspection chambers; electric showers and water heaters; biodigesters; filters; purifiers on sink, below sink, and reverse osmosis, as well as water purifiers and alkalizers; agricultural irrigation systems; and residential septic tanks. In addition, the company offers rural rainwater harvesting, urban water harvesting, and outdoor toilets with bio digester solutions. Further, it provides services, including water treatment and recycling, drinking water purification, and water management for agricultural use. Additionally, the company engages in real estate services and residual water treatment activities. Grupo Rotoplas S.A.B. de C.V. was founded in 1978 and is headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico.
History

Origins

Rotoplas was founded on February 2, 1978, by Carlos Rojas Mota Velasco in Coyoacán, Mexico City as a small business with less than 30 employees. In its beginnings it was dedicated to manufacturing pots for gardening and milk tanks. In 1989, it began manufacturing industrial polyethylene tanks using the rotational molding technique. In 1995, two product lines were sold in 3,000 points of sale in Mexico with 8 plants. Its popularity led the company to have up to 90% market share in the , they were listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "AGUA" . They entered the United States with Plastic-Mark and The Tank Depot in 2015
