The company was formerly known as AXA Cooperative Insurance Company and changed its name to Gulf Insurance Group in June 2022. Gulf Insurance Group was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait.
History
Gulf Insurance Group was established in 1975 in Kuwait and has since grown to become one of the largest and most established insurance providers in the Middle East. Over the years, Gulf Insurance Group has expanded into new countries, opened offices in more locations, and developed an extensive network of partners. Today, Gulf’s operations span six countries: Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
