History
Hewlett Packard (HP) was founded in 1939 by William Hewlett and David Packard. It was among the first technology companies in Silicon Valley, and began by making electronic products for companies such as Walt Disney. HP become a leader in the computer industry and in 2001 it merged with Compaq, making it the world’s largest computer company. In 2015, the company split into HP Inc. and HPE.
