Highpower International was founded in 2001 and has since become the largest advanced energy storage solutions provider in China. In the early years of its foundation, the company focused on research and development of rechargeable batteries, and soon grew to become a leading manufacturer of rechargeable batteries. Since then, Highpower International has expanded its operations to include the production of lithium-ion batteries, energy storage systems, and power supply systems for a variety of products and applications.
