History

Hindustan Copper Limited was established on 9th November 1967 with the objective of “Ensuring Self Sufficiency” in Copper Production in India. HCL was then merged with its subsidiaries: Malanjkhand Copper Project, Madhya Pradesh, Indian Copper Complex, Jharkhand, and Taloja Copper Project, Maharashtra.
