HIVE Blockchain Technologies was founded in September 2017 with a goal to modernize the blockchain infrastructure industry by integrating traditional capital market strategies with emerging blockchain technologies. HIVE is the first publicly traded company to be engaged in the production of cryptocurrencies, and the first to own and operate facilities to mine Ethereum in the world.
