Hoà Phát Group is a wholly privately-owned business. It is the largest steel producer in Vietnam, and one of the largest in Southeast Asia. Headquartered in Hanoi, it has production plants in Hai Phong, Hung Yen, and Tay Ninh. The group also has a large network of service centers and distribution centers.
History

Hoà Phát Group was established in 1989. Its first product was reinforced steel bars and pipes. In 1999, the company became a public listed company on the Hanoi Stock Exchange. Since then, it has grown to become one of the largest steel producers in Vietnam and in Southeast Asia.
