The company products are used in automotive, Internet of Things, Home and mobile, and audio and visual applications. Hosiden Corporation was incorporated in 1950 and is headquartered in Yao, Japan.
History

Hosiden began in 1932 as a manufacturer of relay switches. After the war it began to manufacture telephones and develop communication devices. By the mid-1970s, it had begun to diversify its products and services, including audio and visual components, medical equipment, solar cells and batteries. In 1983, the company established a research and development facility in the United States, and later established subsidiaries in Europe and in Asia.
