Houston Community College (HCC) offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of a diverse student body. These programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level positions or to transfer to four-year institutions to pursue bachelor's degrees.

Houston Community College (HCC) has a strong track record of helping its graduates secure employment or further their education. According to data from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, approximately 85 to 90 percent of community college graduates in Texas, including those from HCC, find employment or enroll in another college within a year of completing their programs. 
 

Specifically for HCC, data from Niche indicates that 85% of graduates are employed two years after graduation, and 83% are employed six years after graduation. HCC offers comprehensive career support through its Career and Job Placement Services Center, which provides resources, employment opportunities, and internship possibilities to students and alumni.
