History
The foundation of Hovid Berhad stretches back to 1983, when its current CEO, the late Tan Sri Dr. Hoe Siow Hoay, founded the first Hovid company, Tri-wing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, in Penang. Following its successful launch, Tri-Wing was listed on the Main Board of the Malaysia Stock Exchange in 1994 after a significant expansion. Under the leadership of Tan Sri Dr. Hoe, Hovid steadily grew, eventually becoming the leading integrated healthcare provider in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific region.
