History

Hub Group was founded in 1971 and began operations by providing transportation services with its fleet of trucks. The company grew over the years and expanded its services to include rail and intermodal transportation, truckload totaling, project cargo transportation, and cargo insurance. By the mid-1990s, Hub Group had grown to become one of the largest players in transportation services.
