Hyperfine was founded in 2016 by Jake Saper and Taylor Cavanah, driven by the vision to revolutionize healthcare through imaging. The team began developing their first product, a handheld, AI-enabled ultrasound scanner called Halo, shortly after their founding. In 2020, Hyperfine partnered with GE Healthcare to enable wider access to Hyperfine’s technology and received FDA clearance for their Halo imaging system.
