History

Hyundai Department Store Group was founded in 1976, with the first store opening in Seongnam, South Korea. In 1991, the company expanded to include 12 department stores, and in 2003, it entered the shopping mall business. Today, the company has a nationwide presence in Korea, with 59 stores and more than 60 shopping malls. Since its founding, the company has grown to become one of the country’s leading department store chains, with a wide variety of products and services.
