History

Hyundai Electric was established in 1976 as a part of Hyundai Motor Company. It has since become one of the leading providers of electrical power systems in South Korea. In 1985, the company established its own research and development center to guarantee the quality and performance of its products. With an emphasis on innovation and quality, the company has received numerous awards including the “Two Star” in the 2016 Global Star Award for innovations in technology.
