Imricor Medical Systems Inc. was founded in 1987 by Dr. George Pyers, a neurophysiologist, who originally developed and designed a catheter ablation system to treat arrhythmia. In the early1990s, Imricor became one of the first companies to introduce a percutaneous routing ablation system and developed a number of other innovative cardiac mapping and ablation technologies.
