History

Instil Bio was founded in October 2019 by Dr Oisin Biotechnologies, Ltd., a subsidiary of US-based life sciences company Oisin Biotechnologies.While researching novel cellular therapies for illnesses, a team of scientists at Oisin focused on engineering novel ideas culled from the world of synthetic biology. After the successful identification of programs that may be able to reprogram the body’s immune system, a separate firm, Instil Bio, was created to further develop, test and commercialize these innovative cell therapies.
