Jake Chervinsky is General Counsel for Compound Labs, Inc., a financial technology company building a decentralized protocol for autonomous interest rate markets on the Ethereum blockchain. Before joining Compound, Jake represented individual and corporate clients in cryptocurrency-related securities litigation and government enforcement defense matters at Kobre & Kim LLP.

Olguin of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. Mr. Chervinsky specializes in litigation and government enforcement actions involving digital assets. He is a leading commentator on legal issues related to the blockchain industry and is frequently quoted by prominent media outlets on developments in the cryptocurrency space.

Jake said “When I learned about Bitcoin, it struck me as an engineering solution to what I saw as a whole group of intractable political problems – misaligned incentives, rent-seeking behaviour, disrespect for privacy rights.“

Jake wants to take cryptocurrency and use to solve a lot of the real time problems that the world is facing right now.
