Biography

Jyoti Mante (Khurpade) was born in India and has spent much of her life dedicated to the field of education, particularly in computer engineering and technology. After completing her early education, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering in Shegaon between 1994 and 1997. Upon graduating, she began her professional career in academia, teaching at various institutions and gaining experience in educational leadership.
 

Jyoti continued her academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Maharashtra Institute of Technology, which she completed between 2008 and 2010. During her time at MIT, she developed a strong interest in machine learning, cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies. 

 

This led her to undertake further research and gain expertise in these fields. Over the years, she has become well-versed in the areas of data structures, competitive coding, database systems, machine learning, and deep learning, which she has integrated into her teaching and research.
 

In 1998, Jyoti took on her first significant teaching role as an Assistant Professor at Babasaheb Naik Engineering College in Pusad, where she taught for nearly a year before moving on to other academic opportunities. In 2000, she joined Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) as a faculty member and worked her way up to become the Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, a position she held for over 18 years until 2018. During this time, she contributed significantly to curriculum development, research initiatives, and academic leadership.
 

In August 2018, Jyoti became the Programme Head for B.Tech Integrated Computer Engineering at MIT World Peace University, Pune. In addition to this, she assumed the role of Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at the same institution. In these roles, she oversees the academic programmes, leads research projects, and is involved in strategic decision-making for the department and university. Jyoti has played a significant role in fostering a dynamic learning environment, integrating cutting-edge technologies into the curriculum, and guiding students to excel in their careers.
 

She has also been pursuing her PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at MIT World Peace University, with a focus on machine learning and Python programming. Her research interests include AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, which she has explored in several published papers. 

 

Notably, her work includes papers on topics such as augmented reality and heart rate variability for reducing stage fright, IoT and 5G networks, and advanced security systems using encrypted passwords.
