History
Xunlei was established in 2002 as a video search service. In 2003, Xunlei launched its Xunlei TV services, which expanded to include many other digital media services such as online gaming, music streaming, and online reading. In 2005, Xunlei signed a deal with Baidu to offer its services on the search engine’s website. In 2007, Xunlei debuted its Kankan video streaming and downloading platform. In 2008, Xunlei launched its cloud acceleration service, and in 2009, Xunlei entered the music download market. In 2010, Xunlei released its cloud storage and cloud computing services.
