Koç Holding focuses on four main industries as energy, finance, consumer durables, and automotive proceeding to make a difference in every sector with the services and service offers. Some other products and services include: 

  • Tat G?da: 

The foundations of Tat G?da were laid by Vehbi Koç in 1967 with the establishment of the Tat canning factory. Expanding its product range over the years, Tat G?da is currently one of Turkey’s largest food companies producing tomato paste and canned food under the “Tat” brand. 

  • Koçta?: 

Operating in the field of home improvement (DIY) retailing, with its digital channels, 39 Koçta? and 53 Koçta? Fix stores in its total sales area of 229 thousand m2 , throughout 30 provinces in Turkey, Koçta? is a solution center that meets all the needs required to improve and decorate every living space under one roof. Operating with the aim of providing the best service to more than 10 million visitors the Company maintained its leadership position in 2019 through its pioneering investments in the DIY retail sector.

  • Setur: 

Setur is one of the first and pioneering tourism companies in Turkey. Established in 1965, Setur operates in the fields of domestic and international tour operations and hotel reservations, air ticket sales, visa services, cruise travel, congress and seminar events and international training. 

Setur Marinas: Entering operations 42 years ago with the Çe?me Alt?nyunus Marina, today Setur Marinas is leader in the marina sector with 22% market share in Turkey. 

  • Divan: 

Divan Group offers a broad spectrum of services ranging from accommodation to food and beverages, catering and production of bakery products. The Divan Group operates through a total of 19 hotels, 3 residences, 22 patisseries, 102 bakeries, 15 restaurants, two stadiums and one Eataly operation, one banquet unit, and the chocolate, Turkish delight and bakery production factory, in Ta?delen. Zer: Zer’s core activities are grouped under two headings: “Procurement Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)” and “Procurement Technologies”. When offering these services, Zer provides services rendered by its peers operating in the global arena with local suppliers’ resources and works to maximise benefits provided to its customers. 

  • KoçSistem: 

As a technology company for 75 years, KoçSistem continues to contribute to Turkey’s digital transformation at the highest level with its customers from different sectors, who are the leaders in their fields, with more than 80 national and international business partners, 1,500 employees in 81 provinces, its subsidiary KoçDigital and the B2B Entrepreneurship Platform Techsquare. 

  • RMK Marine: 

Focusing on construction of tankers, tugs and super / mega yachts, RMK Marine is one of the leading shipyards in the sector with its infrastructure facilities and capabilities which meet the Industrial Quality Assurance Requirements for Design and Production, as well as with the projects it undertakes by using its continuously developed talent sets. 

  • Ram: 

Ram D?? Ticaret has played a leading role in our country’s exports since its establishment and contributed to the development of foreign trade with its know-how and expert staff. It continues operate with the same awareness and excitement. The company turns the values, that it introduced to the Turkish foreign trade sector, into experience, while celebrating its 50th year in 2020. 
 

History

Vehbi Koç (1901 - 1996) stepped into the world of trade at the age of 16, in 1917, in Ankara, after convincing his father to open a grocery store.

Vehbi Koç completed the registration process for this store, which was named after his father, on May 31, 1926, with the name Koçzade Ahmet Vehbi. This is the date when Koç Group of Companies was born and was considered to be the company’s official date of establishment.

The rapid development of Koç Group of Companies in various fields is the result of an organisation that is well-suited for growth and diversity. As a result of the long-lasting efforts of Turkish and foreign experts on administration and organisation, Koç Holding A.?. was established in 1963.

As the decision-making body of Koç Group of Companies, Koç Holding A.?. is defining the strategies of, controlling, coordinating, and guiding the efforts of the Group. Within the body of Koç Holding A.?., a unit was created for devising long-term plans for these efforts to be realised in accordance with the development plans of the country.

Vehbi Koç, a believer in institutionalisation, handed over his position as Chair to his son, Rahmi M. Koç in 1984. On April 4, 2003, Mustafa V. Koç assumed this role carried out by Rahmi M. Koç since 1984. Mustafa V. Koç served as the Chair of Board of Directors from 2003 to January 21, 2016, the date he passed away. After the passing of Mustafa Koç, Ömer M. Koç took over the position of Chair.
Rahmi M. Koç still serves as the Honorary Chair and Member of Koç Holding Board of Directors, European Commission.
