History
LexaGene was founded in 2011 with the mission of revolutionizing the life sciences market. Initially focused on pathogen detection, LexaGene pivoted in 2015 to an open-access platform, creating the first and only automated sample-to-answer platform for large or small to mid-sized laboratories. Since then, LexaGene has obtained numerous awards, including a NIH SBIR grant, a STTR grant, and has been recognized by organizations such as the MassBio Accelerator and MassChallenge.
