History

LoveSac was founded by Shawn Nelson in 1995. Their first retail store opened in Stamford, CT, providing their popular bean bag chairs and filing the trademark for the original Sac. Over the following years, LoveSac has opened over 54 retail stores as well as an online store for their furniture, accessories, and other products.
