Lydall was founded in 1911 in Utica, New York, and soon became a producer of industrial textile products. The company expanded over the years, adding automotive filtration products, specialty industrial insulation materials, acoustical and thermal products and advanced filtration solutions. In 2008, the company moved its corporate headquarters to Manchester, Connecticut.
