History
Mainstay Medical was founded in 2008 and received its initial funding from venture capital firms in 2009. Since then, the company has been developing a medical device to provide a long-term medical solution to chronic lower back pain. In 2018, Mainstay Medical began commercial launch of its ReActiv8 Implantable System in select markets in Europe and Australia.

Our mission is to provide a long-term medical solution to chronic lower back pain, by making available effective and long-term implantable neuromodulation therapy to improve the quality of life for those affected.
Vision
Our vision is to drive lasting health outcomes in chronic low-back pain patients globally through our neuromodulation therapy, enabling better mobility, health and improved quality of life.
