He has led many research studies and has worked for many publications related to energy, environment, and sustainability.

Vision

Coleman is passionate about sustainability. In one of his recent book, he argues that:

"Our culture of entitlement encourages the belief that instant gratification is our right; this in turn erodes our sense of duty toward anything outside of these immediate desires. Our consumption habits are out of control and they are sabotaging our destiny. Nurturing our sense of personal responsibility, and squashing our hunger for more "stuff" is the single most important step toward saving our world for future generations."

Recognition and Awards
Using his professional experience to write it, in 2012 Coleman published his first book called “The Sustainability Generation: The Politics of Change and Why Personal Accountability is Essential NOW!”. His book “Time to Trust” was awarded a Silver Medal by the Axiom Business Books Awards in the “Business Ethics” category and was also an Award-Winning Finalist in the “Social Change” category of the 2015 International Book Awards.
