Mark Mueller-Eberstein is a serial entrepreneur, strategic leader, bestselling author, active angel investor, and international speaker. He has over 20 years experience in technology leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, including Hewlett-Packard and Microsoft.
Mark is the co-founder and CEO of CodexDF, a company that develops customer-focused enterprise software solutions to solve complex accounting, reporting, and tax challenges for digital assets. He also founded the Adgetec Corporation’s consulting business in 2010, whose mission is to help organisations and their leaders realise value globally.
Mark is a global authority and personality about blockchain, compliance, angel investing, cryptocurrency, and accounting software. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology in Berlin, and also studied at the University of Marburg.
He has continued his academic career since and now, as a teacher, Mark delivers guest lectures at various educational institutions, including Seattle University. Biography
Mark is originally from Germany. He received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Technology in Berlin and studied at the University of Marburg. He currently resides outside of Seattle, Washington State, USA.
He started his career as a global speaker and advisor. As a speaker, Mark has excited audiences in many countries and continents. His appearances include TEDx, APEC, World CIO Forum, Central Asian Economic Forum, SIC, and Microsoft’s WPC.
As a bestselling author, Mark has written and co-authored multiple books. ‘Agility: Competing and Winning in the Tech-Savvy Marketplace', a 2010 Wiley published book, is the best-selling book about how technology and organisational agility impacts business performance and can become a critical success factor based on the data of thousands of organisations across industries and geographies.
Mark is also the co-author of ‘No Fear: Business Leadership In the Age of Digital Cowboys’, a best-selling manifesto for business leadership in the digital age, which was published in 14 languages.
His “CES 2019 Must-read” book, ‘The Trust Technology - How Blockchain Technology is changing your World’ is a guide for leaders and investors on Digital Assets and distributed ledger technologies. Mark and Phil Klein co-authored this book.
As a faculty member at Rutgers University, he has taught the TOP 11 USA Executive education program and coached executives on digital transformation, digital marketing, change management, leadership, and technology as business success and transformation factors.
Mark delivers Coursera and Rutgers online classes on “New Technologies for Business Leaders: From Blockchain and IoT to Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality technologies” empowering many business leaders to bring the state of the art information technologies into their organisations to improve client and customer engagement and ultimately the bottom line of their businesses.
Mark’s academic research leads to innovation acceleration by removing inefficiencies (e.g. around financial transactions). Mark predicted early that social media, communication technologies, and cloud computing a critical information and communication technology enablers for businesses and resulting in transformation for the IT industry and professions.
He established the leading global professional association for people working in Information and Communications Technologies and Sciences.
Mark has actively invested in organisations focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain technology, and crowdfunding. He is a managing member of the private Codex3 investor group and advisor to several VCs.
He is the Global Industry Council Director at the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP), established by UNESCO and focussing on the global professional association for people working in Information and Communications Technologies and Sciences. He is also a member of the ‘Washington State IoT and the Blockchain Councils’ advising the Governor, Lt. Governor, and state legislators.
