History
Medivation was founded in 2004 by David Hung, M.D., and began operations in 2005. In October 2006, Medivation entered into a clinical collaboration agreement with Astellas Pharma Inc. In 2010, Medivation entered into a licensing agreement with Astellas Pharmaceuticals for its MDV3100 product candidate.
