Summary
History
National Electronics Holdings Limited (NEH) was established in 1968 as an engineering firm. The Company then began its foray into printed circuit board (PCB) production and trading of electronic components. The Company became the first from Singapore to set up an overseas subsidiary in Shenzhen, the Special Economic Zone in Southern China in 1983. Subsequently, other overseas subsidiaries were established in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam to strengthen NEH’s presence in the region. From PCB operations, NEH began to manufacture a wide range of consumer electronic products in the early 1990s, such as remote controls and computer keyboards, through its subsidiary in Malaysia. NEH was listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore Limited (the “SGX-ST”) on 20 June 2000.
