History
YANSAB initially began under a joint venture between Chevron Phillips Chemical International Ventures and SABIC, which began operations in April 1990. The company quickly built 10 world-class plants, the largest of which produces over a million tons of ethylene and polyethylene each year. During its years of operations, YANSAB has extended its production capabilities to include specialty chemicals and specialty products, services, and technologies that serve the downstream markets of automotive, medical, energy, and building and construction industry.
