The company was formerly known as Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s. and changed its name to O2 Czech Republic a.s. in June 2014. O2 Czech Republic a.s. was incorporated in 1993 and is based in Prague, the Czech Republic. O2 Czech Republic a.s. is a subsidiary of PPF Telco B.V.
History
O2 Czech Republic first launched as EuroTel and changed its name in 2007 to O2. Telecom company, Telefonica, acquired O2 Czech Republic in 2006.
