The company offers beers, ciders, long drinks, mineral waters, juices, soft drinks, energy drinks, sports beverages, kvass, whisky, and other beverages. It also rents beverage-serving equipment to its hotel, restaurant, and catering customers; and coolers to its retailers. The company was founded in 1878 and is headquartered in Iisalmi, Finland.
History

Olvi plc was founded in 1878 as Suomen Oluttehdas Oy, and has gone through many ownership changes throughout its history. It was originally owned by Anton Kukkonen, and then became part of the Sinebrychoff Corporation in 1930. In 1985, it was sold to the Finnish government, and in 1993 it was privatized and listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Today, the company is majority owned by the Olvi Foundation, and it is Finland's leading brewery and beverage company.
