Summary

Orosur Mining Inc. explores, develops, and produces gold projects in South America. Its flagship project is the Anzá exploration gold project that consists of seven licenses covering an area of 207 square kilometers located in the Middle Cauca Belt in Antioquia, Colombia. The company was formerly known as Uruguay Mineral Exploration Inc. and changed its name to Orosur Mining Inc. in January 2010. Orosur Mining Inc. was incorporated in 1996 and is based in Vancouver, Canada.

History

The Company was founded in 2007 and is based in Lima, Peru. Orosur Mining became first listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in April 2007. The Company has built a portfolio of gold producing and exploration assets in Uruguay, Colombia and Western Australia. In 2017, the Company became debt free and also received two awards, one for its excellence in investor relations and another for its dedication to corporate social responsibility.
