Orrstown Financial Services was founded in 1920 as the Orrstown State Bank. It is headquartered in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and serves Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia through 24 branch locations. In 2009, the company acquired Merchants Bancshares, Inc. and changed its name to Orrstown Financial Services, Inc.
