History

Parex Resources' initial operations completely focused on Venezuela as a country, originally established by the company founders in 2002. 2014 saw Parex Resources expand its horizons to develop and explore acreage positions in Colombia's Lower Magdalena Basin, acquiring and developing land that previously had been held by foreign oil companies, and accelerating development of a significant asset base.
