History

Perseus Mining was established in October 2002. The company's inaugural focus was on applying modern exploration conventions and technologies to target potential new gold discoveries in the under-explored Archaean Birimian Greenstone Belts in West Africa. It has since become a successful mid-tier gold producer with an operating mine in Ghana geology.
