History
Pironet was founded in 1994 by Dirk Niederlag and Jörg Schlösser in Mönchengladbach. The two of them were former SAP consultants who wanted to focus on customer-oriented solutions. In 1996, Pironet became the first German company to launch web hosting services and support for Linux administration. In 2003, Pironet released a new series of cloud-based technologies, including their Business CONTINUUM and the NDG-servers, which are powered by applications like SAP ERP, Exchange, and numerous virtual servers.
