Pos Malaysia Berhad or Pos Malaysia is a postal delivery service company that is based in Malaysia. It provides postal and logistics services, including delivery, warehousing and e-commerce fulfilment.

History

Pos Malaysia was first established as the Machine Readable Passport System project by the Home Ministry in 1986 and was later transformed into the Department of Posts in 1992 following the establishment of Pos Malaysia Berhad. It was then privatized in 1994 and later listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now Bursa Malaysia) in 2000. In 2003, it acquired a 49% equity stake in Citipost (M) Sdn Bhd.

Recognition and Awards

Pos Malaysia has been recognized internationally for its service and innovation. In 2012, the company won the Logistics Company of the Year Award from the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry. Additionally, in 2017, Pos Malaysia was awarded the World Post Award from the Universal Postal Union for its efforts to expand financial inclusion in Malaysia.
