History
Founded in 1999, Pure Earth started working on projects in India, Mexico, Nicaragua and other countries where the poorest people are primarily affected by pollution. Over time, Pure Earth’s efforts expanded and now include projects in thirty-five countries across the globe.
Mission
Our mission is to identify, investigate and cleanup the world’s most polluted places, reducing the toxicity of chemicals in the environment and preventing health risks to people living and working in contaminated areas.
Vision
Our vision is a world free of pollution and the life-shortening and deadly health issues caused by it.
