Reece Australia was founded in 1919 by Arthur J. Reece and George Webster. The pair started as distributors of plumbing and industrial supplies, with their first premises located in Pitt Street, Sydney. Over the next few decades, Reece continued to expand and acquire other companies, growing its distribution network and becoming the leading plumbing and industrial supplier in Australia and New Zealand.
