Summary
History
The Company was founded in 1932 by the Feitelberg family in Nelsonville, Ohio. From 1933 through the 1950's, the Company manufactured footwear under the Hammill & Co. and Georgia Boot brands, strictly for the wholesale market. In 1968, Georgia Boot became part of the Rocky family of brands, and the Company continued to expand by adding the Lehigh, privately owned Brand Heritage as well as Dingo and Movado footwear. Throughout the 1990's, Rocky further broadened its portfolio of brands by adding Creative Recreation, Durango, and Michelin Footwear. Today, the Company’s portfolio of brands includes Rocky, Georgia Boot, Durango, Lehigh, Creative Recreation and the Company's licensed brand, Michelin Footwear.
