Seek Ltd was first founded in 1997 by brothers Paul and Andrew Bassat, launching the company as ‘Seek IT’. Upon launching, the company quickly attracted the support of angel investors and proceeded to implement their business model. Throughout the 2000s, the company diversified its product range and expanded into New Zealand and China. In 2006, Seek Ltd listed on the ASX and began an international growth strategy, opening offices in Hong Kong, the United States, Brazil, and South Africa.
