History
The company was founded in 1992 as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise, named China International Securities Corporation. In 1996, the Securities Regulatory Commission approved its change of name to Shenwan Hongyuan Securities Co., Ltd., following a reorganization. It listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2000.
