Sun International was the brainchild of Sol Kerzner, who established the first of the Sun City properties in 1979. From the original Sun City, to the year 2000 and beyond, the Sun International brand has grown and embraced all areas of leisure, gaming and entertainment, extending as far as the American continent to Managua and Panama City.
