The company was founded in 1969 and is headquartered in Mexico City, Mexico.

Televisa was founded in 1960 by Emilio Azcarraga Milmo and is the largest media company in Latin America, owning 66 radio and TV stations, making it the top satellite pay-TV service provider in the world, with content being distributed to over 119 countries in over 35 languages.
