Founded in 2013 in Gatineau, Quebec, Hydropothecary is first and foremost a health and wellness company dedicated to providing safe, consistent, and effective medical cannabis products. History

The Hydropothecary Corp was founded in 2013 by Dr. Michael Munzar, along with co-founders Adam Miron and Sébastien St-Louis. With the goal of bringing premium medical cannabis products to Canadian patients, Hydropothecary set out to become the leading medical cannabis producer in Canada. Hydropothecary quickly became one of Canada’s first licensed producers, and in 2016, it became the first and only licensed producer in Quebec. Since then, the company has rapidly expanded, becoming one of Canada’s largest licensed cannabis producers by 2018.
