History

Tropical Canning was founded in 1942 as a small canned vegetable and fruit operation in Miami, Florida. The original founders—a family of three generations—worked diligently to create a quality product and cultivate a passionate team. In the 1960s, Tropical Canning invested in expanding their facility, introducing new machinery and new packing technology, as well as opening a new facility in Carolina. In the 1990s, Tropical Canning acquired another canning facility in Georgia, allowing them to cultivate a harvest from the southern United States.
